Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State.

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayer:

"It is therefore, prayed that your Lordships may graciously be pleased to admit the writ petition, call for the records, issue Rule NISI in the nature of Writ of Certiorari/Mandamus calling upon the Opp.Parties to show cause as to why they shall not be directed to effect correction in the provisional voter list vide Annexure-1 including the names of the valid voters left out on consideration of the grievance vide Annexure-2 series and fix the pooling station at Barada as was fixed in the earlier election keeping in view the convenience the voters of the society.

And in the event the Opp.Parties fail to show cause or show insufficient cause, the said Rule be made absolute, the opposite parties authorities be directed to effect correction in the provisional voter list vide Annexure-1 including the names of the valid voters left out on consideration of the grievance vide Annexure-2 series and fix the polling station at Barada as was fixed in the earlier election keeping in view the convenience the voters of the society."

In course of hearing it is brought to notice of this Court that ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has submitted his representation addressed to the State Co-operative Election Commission, Odisha, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.2) on 19.05.2022, but the same is yet to be considered. 5.

Having regard to the fact that the election is scheduled to be held on 19th June, 2022, the writ petition is disposed of directing the State Co-operative Election Commissioner, Odisha, Bhubaneswar to consider and dispose of representation said to be pending before him by 18th June, 2022. 6.

The State Co-operative Election Commissioner, Odisha, Bhubaneswar shall act upon a soft copy of this order as uploaded in the Court's website to be produced by the petitioner.
