This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No. 11 of 2018 corresponding to Kantabania P.S. Case No. 44 of 2018, pending on the file of the Learned S.D.J.M., Hindol for the alleged commission of offence under Sections-395 of the IPC, and is in custody since 22.05.2018.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Asst. Sessions Judge, Hindol by Order dtd. 31.03.2021 in Bail Application No. 28 of 2021, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Heard Mr. Asutosh Tripathy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. K.K. Gaya, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

Taking into account the criminal proclivity of the petitioner as stated by the learned counsel for the State on instruction that he has six criminal cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to exercise its discretion in the application for bail of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands dismissed.
