1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the order of eviction passed by opposite party no.3-Tahasildar, Chitrakonda in EC N-41172/2021 on the ground that the petitioner has only been given three days (Annexure-3)/seven days (Annexure-1) for removal of encroachment.

3. It is further submitted that there is an appeal period of 30 days for moving in appeal before the appropriate authority.

4. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that if the petitioner files any appeal, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner being an old person he may be granted further time to file appeal.

6. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of observing that the petitioner, if so advised, shall file an appeal within three weeks from today before the appellate authority along with the petition for interim prayer, if any, the appellate authority shall consider the same and pass appropriate order in accordance with law on the interim prayer.

7. Till disposal of the interim application, status quo regarding possession of the petitioner shall be maintained.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
