This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

The present contempt petition has been filed for the alleged willful disobedience of the order dated 23rd August, 2018 passed in W.P.(C) (PIL) No.14890 of 2018, whereby this Court had directed the competent authority to consider and dispose of the comprehensive representation filed by the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks.

At the time of hearing, Mr. Samantaray states that the claim of the petitioner in respect of the deficiency/irregularity in finalizing the Tender Notice No.1820/Hospital dated 8th June, 2018 was duly examined and the allegations were found to be

// 2 // without any basis, as noticed in the reasoned and speaking order dated 7th November, 2019 passed by the Government. He thus submits that the orders passed by this Court on 23rd August, 2018 stand duly complied with.

In view of the above, the contempt proceedings are dropped and the CONTC is accordingly disposed of.
