This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

It is seen from the record that since there is allegation against the petitioner under the S.C. and S.T. (PoA) Act, the petitioner has to file an appeal. At this juncture, an oral prayer is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to convert the CRLREV to CRLA under Section 14-A(1) of the S.C. and S.T. (PoA) Act, 1989. 4.

The prayer for conversion is allowed.

Registry is directed to convert the CRLREV to CRLA and list this matter before the appropriate Bench. ( A.K. Mohapatra ) Judge Jagabandhu
