Heard Mr.M.Padhi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

On instruction Mr.Mohanty submits that in connection with the complaint dated 6.4.2022 under Annexure-1 series Chauliaganj Police Station has already registered the F.I.R. styled as Chauliaganj P.S. Case No. 199 dated 27.6.2022 under Section 506 I.P.C., Mr.Padhi, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. should also has been registered under Section 294 I.P.C. read with relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 including Section 67 of the said Act. In such background he prays that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cuttack (opposite party No.3) in the matter by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.3 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is received along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.3 would do well to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
