This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual / Physical) Mode.

Heard Mr. Gopal Krushna Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Sarat Chandra Panda, learned counsel appearing for Opposite Party Nos.3 & 4.

Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the O.Ps.3 & 4 submits that by December, 2021 the arrear dues outstanding against the Petitioner is Rs.1,03,485.86 paise.

Mr. G.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner fairly submits that the Petitioner is not in a position to pay such a huge amount in one go and he proposes to pay Rs.25,000/- outright followed by Rs.15,000/- within six weeks of the first payment and the rest of the amount in convenient installments, and the electric line be reconnected to his house.

Regard being had to the facts and submission, we dispose of this writ petition directing the Petitioner to deposit Rs.25,000/- (twenty-five thousand) within three days hence. On deposit of the aforesaid amount, electric connection be given to the Petitioner's house on payment of extra charges by the Petitioner, if any, for reconnection according to the rules and guidelines of the company. Rest amount of Rs.15,000/- (fifteen thousand) shall be paid by the Petitioner within six weeks thereafter. The final rest amount shall be paid by the Petitioner by monthly installments of Rs.5,000/- (five thousand) each till the total outstanding dues is realized. The Petitioner shall go on paying the current dues without fail every month.

It is made clear that, no interest or late fee or surcharge shall be levied on the Petitioner on such deposits. 7.

With the aforesaid observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules. ........................
