The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Mr. T.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. K.K. Das, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
The Petitioner seeks extension of period of interim bail on the ground of illness of his father.

Upon hearing both parties and considering the submissions as well as the report of radiologist under Ext.2, the interim bail period granted by this court on 26th August, 2022 is extended till 2nd January, 2023.

It is made clear that the Petitioner shall surrender himself on or before 2nd January, 2023, failing which learned court below shall take all appropriate steps including issuance of NBW of Arrest to apprehend the Petitioner.

The I.A. is disposed of.
