Heard Mr. Milan Kanungo, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Mr. Dipankar Acharya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. J.Patra, learned counsel for the State-OPID. 2.

Instant I.A. is filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the bail order dated 4th July, 2022 passed in BLAPL No. 5217 of 2022 whereby one of the conditions seeking permission to leave the jurisdiction of the court has been imposed. 3.

Mr. Kanungo, learned Senior Advocate submits that each and every time, the petitioner is required to seek permission of the court leaving its jurisdiction and the same is causing immense hardship and inconvenience and therefore, the said condition in the Court's bail order dated 4th July, 2022 should be dispensed with.

An objection is received from Mr. Patra, learned counsel for State-OPID against any such modification of the bail order. 5.

Considering the submissions of the learned Senior Advocate and learned counsel for OPID, the Court is of the view that the condition as fixed in its bail order dated 4th July, 2022 does not require any modification as it is informed to the Court that the petitioner has been seeking permission to leave jurisdiction of the court without any difficulty. The Court is also of the view that such condition and obtaining permission is necessary taking into account the nature of offences alleged against the petitioner. So, therefore, the Court does not find any reason to modify the bail order as has been prayed for.

Consequently, I.A. stands dismissed.
