This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.1881 of 2022, on the files of learned S.D.J.M., Sambalpur, arising out of Khetrajpur P.S.
Case No.145 of 2022, under Section 147/148/452/324/307/149 of I.P.C.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned District & Sessions Judge, Sambalpur, by order dated 31.05.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner places on record the injury report in which the injuries have been categorized as simple.

It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner has no criminal proclivity. Taking into account the nature of the injuries suffered by the victim, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Additionally it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional police station once in every week till the submission of the final form.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no criminal proclivity. While enlarging the petitioner on bail the learned court below shall very such assertion. If it comes to the fore that the petitioner has any criminal antecedent this order shall stands recalled.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
