This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State of Odisha.
In this Writ Petition, the petitioner Binati Sendha has prayed for a direction to the opposite parties to provide her employment under R & R Policy, 2006 for acquisition of land by M.C.L.
It is stated that ventilating her grievance, the petitioner has filed a representation before the Collector, Angul (opposite party no.2) since 11.03.2022 under Annexure-8 but the same has not yet been
// 2 // considered and the concerned authority may be directed to consider the same in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the prayer made in the writ petition regarding disposal of representation.
After going through the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the averments taken in the writ petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the opposite party no.2- Collector, Angul to consider the representation of the petitioner under Annexure-8 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
