This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer to quash the entire criminal proceeding in G.R. Case No.95 of 2007, pending in the Court of S.D.J.M., Puri.

No one appears on behalf of the Petitioner when the matter is called. However, learned counsel for the StateOpposite Party No.1 is present. 4.
The case is of the year 2011.

As such, this Court is of the view that the Petitioner is a recalcitrant litigant and does not want to proceed with the matter.

Hence, this CRLMC stands dismissed for nonprosecution.

However, if the case is still pending and charge sheet in the aforesaid case has been filed, the Petitioner may seek quashment of the cognizance/charge, if framed, if so advised. (S. Pujahari) Judge DA
