Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody being remanded on 24.09.2021 in connection with Chandapur P.S. Case No.66 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.133 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Ranapur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 385/387/394/307 of IPC read with Section 25(1-a)/27 of Arms Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner demanded money and took away some materials from the informant by threatening him. In course of investigation, the materials with cash have been recovered from his possession. Charge sheet has been submitted in the meantime.

Considering the above facts, materials on record, period of detention in custody and the fact that charge sheet has been submitted, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as
the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail. Further he shall appear before the IIC of Chandapur Police Station once in every fortnight for a period of six months.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
