This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with Special (POCSO) No.27 of 2022, on the files of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Angul, arising out of Rengali Dam site P.S. Case No.47 of 2022 under Sections 376(2)(n)/506 of the IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional District Judge-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Angul, by order dated 02.04.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed. 5.

Perused the 164 Cr.P.C. statement of the victim and her medical examination report.

Considering the tenor of such statement and that in the meanwhile charge sheet has already been filed, this Court directs the

petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
