Heard Mr.B.S.Tripathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Ch.S.Mishra, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 2.
According to Mr.Tripathy, the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in granting her compensation and in extending her the benefits under the Rehabilitation & Resettlement Policy, 2006 though her house was demolished on 29.9.2016 and though such demolition was not permissible under law. In this context, he draws our attention to order dated 4.11.2016 passed by the Sub-Collector, Sadar, Sundargarh(opposite party No.3) in Encroachment Appeal No. 8 of 2016 at Annexure-8. During course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Collector, Sundargarh (opposite party No.2) by filing a representation for redressal of her grievances and further prays that the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a stipulated period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court granted liberty to the petitioner to approach the opposite party
// 2 // No.2 by filing a comprehensive representation along with a certified copy of this order through Registered/Speed Post within a period of two weeks. In the event, such a representation is filed before opposite party No.2, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receiving of such representation and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
