Heard Mr.S.Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Nayak, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr.Roy the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in taking a decision on his representation dated 19.5.2018 under Annexure-7 which was filed pursuant to the liberty given by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 1675 of 2017 claiming enhanced compensation and which was sent through speed post on 4.6.2018. Accordingly, he prays that a direction be issued to the Special Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation Officer, Mayurbhanj (opposite party No.4) before whom the aforesaid representation under Annexure-7 is pending to take a decision on the same within a specific time period. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party no.4 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of

// 2 // receipt of copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 5.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
