1. Mr. Behera, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and Order No.
submits, his client wants registration of his document. He had moved co-ordinate Bench by W.P.(C) no.11404 of 2020. By order dated 1st May, 2020 there was direction upon registering authority to take a decision on the registerablity of the instrument submitted by his client, provided there is no legal impediment.

The registering authority by letter dated 1st June, 2020 informed petitioner that the documents submitted were in respect of plot area exceeding 500 square meters and approval of planning authority under ORERA is required. The registering authority requested petitioner to comply and again present the document. He submits, subject matter of the sale deed does not require registration
// 2 // under ORERA and is also not covered by clarification dated 21st April, 2018, issued by ORERA.

Mr. Babu, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, his client has filed counter. 4.
Petitioner is directed to approach ORERA with his contention that subject matter of the document does not come under purview of that authority. Petitioner will present his application for clarification from ORERA along with copy of this order. The authority is directed to deal with petitioner's contention within three weeks of communication. 6.
The writ petition is disposed of.
