1. For the reasons stated, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. The I.A. is allowed.

2. It is seen that pursuant to the direction issued by the learned Single Judge in the impugned order, the fresh selection process in fact was completed on the basis of the interview held on 2nd December 1997 and one Smt. Hemalata Mohapatra, Respondent No.1 herein, who was the writ petitioner, has been engaged and she joined on 7th November 2015 itself.

3. In that view of the matter, the impugned order has worked itself out. With the above status quo continuing for more than seven years

now, this Court is not inclined to interfere at this stage. The writ appeal is accordingly dismissed.
