Heard Mr. P.R.Chhatoi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.Nayak, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr. Chhatoi, though at the instance of the petitioner Mancheswar P.S. Case No. 265 dated 9.9.2021 has been registered for commission of offences under Sections 279, 337, 338 and 304-A of the I.P.C. and though the F.I.R. contains the registration number of the vehicle involved in the incident however till date neither the vehicle has been seized nor the accused has been apprehended.

During course of hearing, Mr. Chhatoi submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.2) in the matter by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.2 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.2 would do well to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
