There is a joint statement in the Bar that pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 9.9.2022, there has been some development inasmuch as both the Parties in joint sitting not only cooperating to resolve the issue but on being asked the Petitioner even in the meantime in terms of the direction of the Competent Authority has already submitted a fresh proposal for their consideration. For the present development, this Court finds, the Writ Petition has lost its cause of action. However, in disposal of the Writ Petition, this Court hopes and trusts, the State will work out its promise to the Petitioner in requiring a fresh submission to the proposal by completing such exercise within a reasonable period

// 2 // preferably within a period of one and half months from the date of communication of this order. Documents filed by respective Parties in course of hearing be kept on record.
