This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode) in the 3rd National Lok Adalat. 2.

Heard Mr. Sanjib Swain, learned counsel for the Appellant and Mr. S.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the RespondentInsurance Company. 3.

It is submitted by Mr. Swain, learned counsel for the Appellant that the claimant has been paid a sum of Rs.3,23,500/- (Three lakhs twenty-three thousand five hundred) along with 6% interest per annum before the learned Tribunal. He has filed a memo to that effect, which be kept on record.

After negotiation between the learned counsels for the parties, it is agreed upon by the parties before this Court that the Insurance Company will pay a further consolidated amount of

// 2 // Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) to the Appellants within a period of eight weeks from today.

In view of the aforesaid joint agreement between the parties, the MACA is disposed of in the spirit of Lok Adalat with the direction that the Insurance Company (Respondent No.2) shall pay a further consolidated amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) to the Appellants within a period of eight weeks from today towards final settlement of the dispute, failing which the aforesaid amount shall carry 6% interest per annum.
