This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

This is an application for extension of time. 4.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner, who is an accused in G.R. Case No.132 of 2006 on the file of learned ASJ-cum-JMFC, R. Udayagiri, was directed to surrender before the learned court below within a fortnight hence and due to some personal problem, the petitioner could not surrender on the date fixed as a result he could not availed the benefits of the order dated 13.06.2022. Hence, extension of time has been prayed for. 5.

Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, it is directed that the surrender period granted to the petitioner is extended two weeks from today i.e. till end of 28th of August, 2022.

The I.A. is disposed of accordingly.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
