1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

3. The Petitioners are in custody since 30th May, 20022 in connection with Kendrapara Town P.S. Case No.99/2022 corresponding to T.R. Case No.66/2022 pending in the court of learned District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Kendrapara for the alleged commission of the offence under Section 21(a)/29 of the NDPS Act.

4. It is alleged that the Petitioners were in possession of brown sugar weighing 2.2. miligrams when they were apprehended by Police. It is submitted that nothing was seized from the possession of the Petitioner and they have been falsely implicated in the case.

5. Considering the submissions made, the materials on record, the period of detention of the Petitioners in custody and the fact that the seized contraband is less than commercial quantity being 2.2. grams of brown sugar, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail.

6. Let the Petitioners be released on bail on such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the court in seisin over the matter in the aforesaid case including the condition that he shall appear before the trial court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

7. The BLAPL is disposed of.

8. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
