Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with Special Case No.26 of 2021, pending before the learned ADJ-cum-Special Judge, Bhadrak, arising out of Dhusuri P.S. Case No.37 of 2021, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 21(C)/29 of NDPS Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned ADJ-cum-Special Judge, Bhadrak by order dated 02.06.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the meanwhile deposition of witnesses has already been recorded.

Considering the same and keeping in view the quantity of contraband seized, this Court is not inclined to entertain this bail application on the second journey of the petitioner to this Court. 6.

Taking into account that the petitioner is in custody since 02.03.2021, learned Court in seisin is called upon to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. 7.

Registry is requested to do the needful.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands rejected.
