Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bolangir Sadar P.S. Case No.141 of 2013 corresponding to Special S.C. No.42-15-2 of 14-15 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned 1st Addl. Sessions Judge, Bolangir for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 147/148/307/302/120(B)/109/506/149 of IPC.

Considering the severity of the allegations as also the fact that trial of the case is in progress, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected. 5.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.

However, the learned court below is directed to expedite the trial.
