Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayer:

"The petitioner therefore most humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court be graciously pleased to allow this application and direct the Election Officer, Achyutananda Service Co-operative Society to consider the prayer of the petitioner and others under Annexure-2 and include their names in the votor list allowing them to cast their votes in the election scheduled to be held on 26.06.2022 as per the notification under Annexure-1; And pass such other order/orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstance of the case;"

In course of hearing it is brought to notice of this Court that ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has submitted his representation addressed to the Election Officer Cooperative Society, Orikanta, Cuttack (opposite party no.3) on 28.05.2022, but the same is yet to be considered.

Having regard to the fact that the election is scheduled to be held on 26th June, 2022, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Election Officer Cooperative Society, Orikanta, Cuttack to consider and dispose of representation said to be pending before him by 22nd June, 2022.
