Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State.

The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayer:

"In the above facts and circumstances, it is most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the writ petition, issue notice to the Opp. Parties and after hearing the parties this Hon'ble Court may further be pleased to direct them to rescrutinize the nomination papers of of the petitioners in presence of superior officer of Cooperative department and if they are found illegible, then they shall be allowed to participate as contested candidates in the Election of Terohi Primary Agriculture Co-Operative Society Ltd., which is going to be held on 19.6.2022.

or in alternate, to direct the Opp. Party No1 to dispose the representation dated 3.6.2022 of the petitioners before the date of election (i.e. before 19.6.2022).

And, may pass any other order/orders as may deem fit and proper;

In course of hearing it is brought to notice of this Court that ventilating such grievance, the petitioners have submitted their representation addressed to the State Co-operative Election Commission, Odisha, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.2) on 03.06.2022, but the same is yet to be considered. 5.

Having regard to the fact that the election is scheduled to be held on 19th June, 2022, the writ petition is disposed of directing the State Co-operative Election Commissioner, Odisha, Bhubaneswar to consider and dispose of representation said to be pending before him by 18th June, 2022. 6.

The State Co-operative Election Commissioner, Odisha, Bhubaneswar shall act upon a soft copy of this order as uploaded in the Court's website to be produced by the petitioners.
