The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Mr. P.K. Nayak, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mrs. S. Pattnaik, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.
This application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner, namely Vikash Agrawal apprehending arrest in connection with Rengali P.S. Case No.35 of 2022, corresponding to C.T. Case No.518 of 2022 of the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Jharsuguda for offence under Sections 395/120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

Upon hearing both parties and considering the nature of offences alleged, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

However, as submitted by Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the Petitioner, the Petitioner is at liberty to surrender before the concerned court and seek for bail.

In the event the Petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today before the concerned court below and moves for bail, his prayer for bail shall be considered in accordance with law including the ground of parity, if any applicable, on the same day. 7.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
