This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Although the matter was listed under the heading 'For Orders', with the consent of both the parties, this matter was taken up for final disposal.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the prayer involved in this case has been considered and allowed in respect of some other employees of the University. In that regard, he has filed a representation dated 28.03.2019 before the Registrar, Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.2) and the same is pending before the said Authority till now. Learned counsel for the Petitioner further submits that the case of similarly situated persons, namely, Ajaya Kumar Pradhan, Pramod Kumar Nayak, Gangadhar Parida and Sidhartha Kumar Bisoi, who are Petitioners in W.P.(C) No.7840 of 2021 have already been considered by this
// 2 // Court, vide order dated 03.03.2021, passed in the above writ petition.

In such view of the matter, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for a direction to the Authority to consider the representation of the Petitioner in the light of the order passed in W.P.(C) No.7840 of 2021.

Mr. Dayananda Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for the Utkal University submits that he has no objection if direction is given to the Authority to consider the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law.

In view of the above, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the University, Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 28.03.2019, pending before the Opposite Party No.2 within a period of six weeks from today. In such event, the Opposite Party No.2 shall consider the representation of the Petitioner in the light of the decision taken in the case of similarly situated employees and shall dispose of the representation of the Petitioner by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days thereafter. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. 7.
With the aforesaid direction, both the writ petition and the I.A. are disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
