This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

Grievance of the petitioner is that though order was passed on 21.11.2019 for payment of Block Grant in favour of the petitioner as per Annexure-8, no steps have been taken to release his salary in accordance with such order. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has approached the Director of Higher Education, Odisha by submitting a representation dated 14.12.2021, which is enclosed as Annexure-10 to the writ petition. It is further submitted that the petitioner is due to retire on 30th June, 2022. 4.

Considering the fact that the Director of Higher Education,

Odisha is to take a decision in the representation, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director of Higher Education Department, Odisha (opposite party No. 3) to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a period of ten days from the date of production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
