Order No.
1. Mr. Samantaray, learned Additional Government Advocate states that in compliance of the order dated 21.06.2011 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.16192 of 2011, and order dated 28.04.2022 (annexed as Annexure-A/1) with the compliance affidavit dated 05.05.2022 stands passed by the Principal Secretary to Government of Odisha, Department of Higher Education. The delay in passing the order has been explained in paragraphs-4 and 5 of the compliance affidavit. Thus, he submits that the continuance of the present contempt is not warranted.
2. In view of the above, we accept the reasons for the delay in passing of the order dated 28.04.2022 and thereby drop the contempt proceeding. However, the petitioner is free to seek his available remedy in
// 2 // accordance with law against the aforesaid order dated 28.04.2022.
The Contempt Petition is disposed of.
