The petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following relief:

"The petitioner humbly prays that your Lordships may kindly be graciously pleased to admit the writ petition, issue notice to Opp.Parties and after hearing the parties, issue of writ of mandamus in appropriate direction to the Sarpanch, Sabarang Gram Panchayat, O.P. No.4, i.e., Chairperson of the Standing Committee to dispose of the representation under Annexure-4 series.

And further be pleased to issue appropriate direction to O.Ps. No. 1,2,3 & 5 to dispose of the representation under Annexure4 series" 3.

Ventilating the same grievance, a representation is said to be pending before the Collector, Bhadrak, which is said to have been submitted since 09.05.2022. It is submitted that the petitioner shall be satisfied if a direction is issued to the Collector to dispose of the representation in accordance with law.

Considering the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Bhadrak to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 09.05.2022 in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or on production of certified copy thereof by the petitioner. Before

taking a decision, the petitioner shall also be granted opportunity of hearing.
