The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayer;

"Therefore it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this writ application, issue rule NISI calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why the O.P. No.2, Professor and H.O.D., Pharmacology, SCB Medical College, Cuttack shall not be directed to issue the duplicate college leaving certificate in favour of the petitioner who have completed the Diploma in Pharmacy in the year 1997 bearing Roll No. 0481/1997 from S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack under Annexure-3 if opposite party fail to show cause or show insufficient cause the rule may be made absolute.

And further be pleased to issue the appropriate writ in directing O.P. No.2, Professor & H.O.D., Pharmacology, SCB Medical College, Cuttack to issue the duplicate C.L.C. as per the application made on dated 24.05.2022 under Annexure-6."

Pursuant to order dated 21.06.2022, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate has obtained instructions from the opposite parties to the effect that if the petitioner appears before the Head of the Department, Pharmacology Wing of SCB Medical College, Cuttack, necessary certificate shall be issued to him.

In such view of the matter nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition. However, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the aforementioned authority within a week. In such event, the authority shall supply the necessary certificate to the petitioner in accordance with the procedure prescribed thereof and by observing all necessary formalities as early as possible.
