This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:

"In the above circumstances, it is most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the Writ petition, issue notice to the Opp. Parties and call for the records and further direct to quash the order dated 16.3.2022 in Certificate Case No.2205/2022 passed by the Tax Recovery Officer, Rourkela;

And may pass any other writ/writs and order(s)/direction (s) that your Lordship may deem fir and proper in the interest of Justice, equity and good conscience.

And for which act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound, ever pray." 4.

On perusal of the order sheet, it appears that the writ petition is being adjourned at the instance of learned counsel for the Petitioner since 4th July, 2022. On the last occasion i.e. on 14th July, 2022, when learned counsel for the Petitioner

// 2 // sought for an adjournment, this Court made it clear that pendency of the writ petition shall not be a bar for the Recovery Officer to proceed with the matter in accordance with law.
