Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner, learned Counsel for the State and learned counsel for the informant. 3.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No. 240 of 2021 corresponding Chauliaganj P.S. Case No. 84 of 2021, pending on the file of the learned J.M.F.C.(C) Cuttack for the alleged commission of offence under Sections341/294/506/507/387/34 of the I.P.C read with Section-25/27 of Arms Act.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the Additional Sessions Judge, Cuttack by Order dtd. 07.06.2021 in BLAPL No.536 of 2021, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Learned counsel for the informant places on record in the copy of the F.I.R in Chauliaganj P.S., Case No.445 of 2021 registered on 07.12.2021 in which, it has been alleged that at the behest of the present petitioner, the informant and his family members were threatened in connection with the present BLAPL. The said FIR is kept on record.

Learned counsel for the State on the basis of the recitals in the Case Diary places on record, the criminal proclivity of the present petitioner stating that the petitioner is involved in 23 cases of different nature including some of similar nature. 7.
It is also submitted by the learned State counsel that a SIM Card which was used to threaten for extortion was recovered from the possession of the present petitioner while he was in custody in Choudwar Jail.

In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this application for bail. The same accordingly stands rejected.
