This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 24 of 2021 corresponding to Jarada P.S. Case No. 158 of 2020, pending on the file of the learned Additional Sessions Judge(L.R. & LTV), Berhampur arising out of G.R. Case No. 236 of 2020 on the file of JMFC. Patrapur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections-498 (A)/302/34, of the IPC and he is in custody since 02.08.2020.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of their application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge(L.R. & LTV), Berhampur by Order dtd. 08.04.2021 in S.T.No. 24 of 2021, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Heard Mr. P.K. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K. Gaya, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the meanwhile some of the witnesses have been examined. 6.
Taking note of such submission, this BLAPL is disposed of directing the learned Court in seisin over the matter to conclude the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of the certified copy of this order. 7.
It shall be open for the petitioner to move this Court afresh in the event the trial is not concluded within the time stipulated and the delay is not attributable to the petitioner. 8.
The Bail Application thus stands disposed of. 9.
