Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State.

The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayer:

"In the light of the aforesaid facts and circumstances this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit the writ application and after hearing the parties be pleased to quash the notice dated 14.05.2022 as under Annexure-2; And; be further pleased to direct the Opp. Parties to conduct the election of the Co-operative Society in compliance with the law laid down in that behalf; And; be further pleased to pass any other order(s)/Direction(s) as this Hon'ble Court thinks fit and proper;"

In course of hearing it is brought to notice of this Court that ventilating such grievance, the petitioners have submitted their representation addressed to the Election Officer, Kendrapara Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Kendrapara (opposite party no.7) on 01.06.2022, but the same is yet to be considered.

Having regard to the fact that the election is scheduled to be held on 19th June, 2022, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Election Officer, Kendrapara Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Kendrapara to consider and dispose of representation said to be pending before him by 18th June, 2022.

Election Officer, Kendrapara Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Kendrapara shall act upon a soft copy of this order as uploaded in the Court's website to be produced by the petitioners.
