This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2022 in connection with Khordha Model P.S. Case No.264 of 2022 corresponding to T.R. Case No.52 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned 1ST Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge under NDPS Act for the alleged commission of offence under Section 21(b) of NDPS Act. 4.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is less than commercial quantity being 10 grams of brown sugar as also the fact that the charge sheet has been submitted, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
