Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Plantsite P.S. Case No.174 of 2022 corresponding to Special G.R. Case No.28 of 2022 of the Court of learned 1st Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Rourkela for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 21(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act, 1985 4.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity and moreover the petitioner does not belong to the State of Odisha, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
