Heard Mr. T.P.Tripathy, learned counsel for Petitioners and Mr. B.K.Parhi, learned Central Government Counsel. 3.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased to direct the Opp. Party No.3 to pay the present petitioners the Family Pension of their martyred son, which they are entitled to and also are in need of".

They further submits that through highlighting their grievances, the petitioners have filed a representation on 26.07.2022 at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, before the opposite party No.5 but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, they pray that a direction be issued to opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without

// 2 // expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.5 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioners.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
