01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No (Virtual/Physical) Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Parties.
3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the following reliefs:
" (i) Direct/order that the sealed cover put on the DPC recommendation held on 17.03.2008 shall be opened and inconsequent the petitioner shall be given retrospective promotion to the rank of Assistant Agriculture Officer w.e.f. the date of promotion of his juniors made pursuant to the DPC held on 17.03.2008.
(ii) Declare/Hold that the departmental proceeding drawn on 21.05.2007 is deemed to be dropped w.e.f.28.03.2022 as per the order of this Hon'ble Court passed in WPC(OAC) No.1454/2015 as at Annexure-3.
(iii) Direct/order that the consequential arrear salary, revision of pension and other post retirement benefits shall be released and paid with admissible interest thereon within the stipulated time.
// 2 // (iv) Pass such other orders/direction as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. And for this act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."
4. However, taking into account the claim raised in the present Writ Petition, liberty is granted to the Petitioner to make a fresh representation before Opp. Party No.1 by enclosing all the relevant documents and citations in support of his claim, if any, within a period of three weeks hence.

It is observed that if such a representation is filed within the aforesaid period, Opp. Party No.1 shall do well to take a lawful decision on the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation. The order so passed by the Opp. Party No.1 be communicated to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
