The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a direction to the R.T.O., Cuttack to consider her application dated 12th May, 2022 and to allow her to produce the vehicle bearing Registration No.OR-04-A-0315 (Truck) for re-examination by the authority pursuant to the notice dated 11th May, 2022 (Annexure-2). 3.

Mr. Sarangi, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that pursuant to the notice in Form-V under Annexure-2 issued by R.T.O., Cuttack, the Petitioner was required to produce the aforesaid vehicle on 18th May, 2022 at I & C Centre, Naraj, Cuttack for re-examination. But, she could not produce the same due to certain difficulties. He further submits that the Petitioner is ready and willing to produce the vehicle for re-examination in terms of the notice under Annexure-2. Hence, this writ petition is filed for the aforesaid relief.

Mr. Behera, learned Standing Counsel for the Transport Department submits that let the Petitioner make an application before the authority, who will consider the same and fix the date for re-examination of the vehicle.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the Petitioner makes an application for production of her vehicle for re-examination pursuant to the notice in Form-V under Annexure-2 within a period of two weeks hence along with certified copy of this order, the authority shall do well to consider the same and fix a date for production of the vehicle as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of fifteen days therefrom under intimation to the Petitioner and take a decision in accordance with law.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
