Allegation in the writ petition involved non-acceptance of appeal memorandum by the Settlement Officer, Major Settlement, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.2.

Without entering into such controversy, this Court observes that the memorandum of appeal, if extended, be accepted and the appeal exercise shall be undertaken by disposing of the appeal in accordance with law within a reasonable time. 4.

Let the memorandum of appeal be offered to the Appellate Authority at least within a period of seven days. 5.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
