This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

None appears for the petitioner at the time of call, so also no one had appeared when the matter was listed on 24.06.2016. The petitioner by way of this application U/S. 482 of Cr.P.C seeks to quash the F.I.R. as well as the entire proceeding against the petitioner in connection Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No. 60 of 2015 corresponding to VIG G.R. Case No. 63 of 2015 but no stay has been granted from proceeding further in this case and in the meantime, seven years have already elapsed from the date of registration of the F.I.R. This Court, therefore, entertains a reasonable doubt as to whether the cause of action still survives for the petitioner.
