This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:

"The petitioner, therefore, prays that Your Lordship would be graciously pleased to admit the case call for the records and after hearing the parties allow the same, issue writ/writs in nature of mandamus/certiorari and/or any other/further writ/direction directing the Opp. Parties to release his arrear remuneration/salary for the period from 19.02.2015 to 12.06.2021 within a stipulated period and further be pleased to direct the opp. Parties to consider the case of appointment of petitioner a Drugs Inspector afresh on temporary basis/contractual taking into consideration his experience till the post is regularly filled up. And for this act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound ever pray."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance, Petitioner has filed a representation before the Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Odisha, Health & Family Welfare Department, Opposite Party No.1, which according to the Petitioner is pending before the Authority for consideration. 5.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. of Odisha, Health & Family Welfare Department, Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-7 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law, by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
