Heard Mr. A.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H.M. Dhal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr.Sahoo, the petitioner is aggrieved by nonregistration of her F.I.R., i.e., Malkangiri P.S. Case No. 272 dated 15.05.2022 under appropriate provisions of law. According to him, the F.I.R. should also have been registered for commission of offence under Section-307, I.P.C in the facts and circumstances of the case.

During course of hearing, Mr. Sahoo submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Malkangiri (Opposite Party No.3) for redressal of her grievances and he further prays that the said Opposite Party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a stipulated time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to

the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Malkangiri (Opposite Party No.3) by filing a grievance petition along with a certified copy of this order through Registered Post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, the Opposite Party No.3 receives such a petition, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
