This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer to quash the order dated 31st October, 2017 passed by the learned S.D.J.M., Baripada in 1.C.C. No.171 of 2017, taking cognizance of the offence under Section 138 of N.I. Act against him.

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Niranjan Lenka, learned counsel appearing for the Opposite Party.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner during course of argument submits that the Petitioner does not want to press this application.

Considering the submission made, this CRLMC stands dismissed as not pressed. But the case being one under Section 138 of N.I. Act, steps be taken for expeditious disposal of the case.
