This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

This is an application under Section 438, Cr.P.C. filed by the petitioners for anticipatory bail.

The petitioners seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No.249 of 2022, arising out of Jagatsinghpur P.S. Case No.100 of 2022 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Jagatsinghpur for commission of offence punishable under Sections 147/148/353/455/ 294/427/323/354/171-C/120-B/149, I.P.C. read with Section 29 of Orissa Grama Panchayat Act, 1964 read with Sections 13/135-A of Representation of People Act, 1951 and 1988.

Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, it is directed that in the event the petitioners surrender before the learned S.D.J.M., Jagatsinghpur in the aforesaid case, he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the learned

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
