Heard Mr. Chaini, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Nayak, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.

According to Mr. Chaini, the petitioner is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Laxmisagar P.S. Case No.353 dated 19.12.2020 registered for commission of offences under Sections 419/420 I.P.C. He further submits that though highlighting all her grievances the petitioner has sent a grievance petition on 23.3.2022 through speed post under Annexure-2 to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.3) however till date nothing has been in the matter. In such background he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the petition under Annexure-2 within a specific time period. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party No.3) to take a decision on the said petition in

// 2 // accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
