Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioners are in custody since 15.05.2022 in connection with Dhenkanal Sadar P.S. Case No. 212 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 581 of 2022 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Dhenkanal for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 147/148/341/323/324/325/307/395/397/353/332/333/149 of IPC read with Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act. 4.
It is submitted that while the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Dhenkanal was conducting a raid in the Indipur illegal mining area with the help of staff of Dhenkanal Sadar Police Station and had detained two trucks loaded with lateritic stones, 30 to 33 people came and assaulted them causing bodily injuries. 5.
It is submitted that FIR was registered against 42 persons
including the eight petitioners before this Court. It is submitted that there is no material to show the involvement of the petitioners in the occurrence and in any case the injuries sustained by the injured persons are entirely simple in nature.

Considering the submissions as above, the materials on record, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioners be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that the petitioners shall appear before the IIC of Dhenkanal Sadar police station every day between at 7.00 to 8.00 p.m. for a period of two months.

The BLAPL is, accordingly, disposed of.
